Code
of Ethics
We
at e-Elections believe that the Internet should be open and available
to all political campaigns, no matter how conservative or liberal
the cause. Therefore, we conduct business under the following Code
of Ethics:
- We
will not block any campaign by allowing one side of an issue to
co-opt its opposition's Web address if that Web address is registered
to e-Elections. In other words, one YesOnB.com campaign will not
be able to block or otherwise provide misleading information at
the NoOnB.com Web address.
- If
we develop a custom Web site for a campaign, we will not develop
a site for the opposing side.
- We
will not bid one side against the other to drive up the price
of any Web address.
- We
will not develop Web sites for proponents of gun sales, or for
either side on the issues of abortion or pornography. However,
our Web addresses, where applicable, will be available to all
legitimate electoral campaigns, whatever the issue involved.
- All
packages will be priced on a per-population basis. Therefore,
in statewide races, all initiatives will have commensurate pricing,
regardless of funding for individual initiatives, and all local
races for a particular municipality would be commensurate, regardless
of funding.
- The
price of premium Web addresses will be the same for both sides
of any individual campaign, if both URLs are available. (www.YesOnVouchers.com
and www.NoOnVouchers.com, for example.)
- We
will immediately halt hosting services to any site shown to practice
spamming.
