Collect
e-mail addresses with religious fervor
Not only can
your Web site include a place for volunteers to send in their e-mail
address to receive regular campaign updates, everyone on the campaign
should be collecting e-mail addresses. At fundraisers, debates,
house meetings, from members of the media, supporters on the street
-- you get the idea. These should be added as often as possible
to a campaign database. And keep in touch with people. If they've
given you an e-mail address, be sure to use it -- just don't abuse
it.
